Looking for apps like Kalshi? Maybe your state restricts its sports markets, you’d rather trade inside an app you already use, or you just want to compare prices. These are the main alternatives to Kalshi in 2026, what each is best for and who can use it, from each company’s own documentation and recent reporting, checked October 2026.

Polymarket US: the closest like-for-like
If you want another exchange with the same breadth of questions, Polymarket’s US app is the nearest match: CFTC-regulated, funded in dollars and listing sports, politics, crypto and economics. It’s iPhone-only for now and its standard taker fee (0.0695 × price × (1 − price)) is close to Kalshi’s. See Polymarket US.
Robinhood and Coinbase: the broker route
Both let you trade event contracts without opening a new exchange account. Coinbase’s prediction markets are powered by Kalshi; Robinhood routes to Kalshi and other exchanges, including its own Rothera venture. You get convenience, a narrower selection and usually an extra commission. See Kalshi vs Robinhood.
Sportsbook brands: FanDuel, DraftKings, Crypto.com
The big sportsbooks now run federally regulated prediction apps alongside their betting products. FanDuel Predicts, built with CME Group, launched in December 2025 and went national in January 2026, offering finance and economics markets everywhere and sports only in states without legal online sportsbooks. DraftKings runs its own exchange after buying Railbird in 2025. Crypto.com lists sports and finance contracts on its own CFTC-regulated exchange and launched a standalone app, OG, in February 2026. Expect a sports-heavy menu and sportsbook-style design. Fanatics Markets, Underdog and Gemini run prediction apps too.
Novig: sports only
Novig is a peer-to-peer sports exchange that became a CFTC-designated contract market in June 2026. It’s 21+ and, according to its help centre, available nationwide except Arizona, Nevada and Michigan. Good for sports traders; no politics or economics. See our Novig profile.
PredictIt: politics on a budget
PredictIt has run political markets since 2014 under CFTC no-action relief, amended in July 2025 to raise the per-contract limit to $3,500. It charges 10% of profit on winning trades rather than a per-trade fee. See Kalshi vs PredictIt.
Outside the US
Kalshi is available in 140+ countries, but if it isn’t in yours, or you want deeper global markets, Polymarket’s main exchange is the biggest alternative where it’s allowed. Crypto-native markets such as Limitless also exist, but they’re less established and some are still seeking US approval; check their terms and your local law. Play-money sites like Manifold let you practise forecasting without real money.
