This page explains what happens to your data when you visit Prediction Tape. The short version: we don’t run ads or cross-site tracking, we don’t ask for your details, and we don’t set cookies for visitors.
What we collect
We don’t have accounts, newsletters or contact forms, so we don’t collect your name or email. Like every website, our servers and our network provider receive technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems, and is kept only for a short period.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies for visitors and don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our network provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.
Analytics
We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any other third-party tracking. Pages include Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script that measures page views and how quickly pages load, so we can see which pages are read and fix slow ones. It doesn’t set cookies, and Cloudflare states that it doesn’t collect or use visitors’ personal data. We only see aggregated totals, never individual visitors.
Service providers
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data to serve pages quickly and block attacks, and runs the Web Analytics described above. Fonts are hosted on our own servers. Market data is fetched by our servers from Polymarket and Kalshi; your browser does not contact them unless you click a link to their sites.
Links to other sites
When you follow a link to a platform such as Polymarket or Kalshi, their privacy policy applies from that point.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you and to have it deleted. Because we don’t keep personal profiles, in practice there is usually nothing beyond short-lived server logs.
Changes
If we add features that change any of this, such as a newsletter or different analytics, we will update this page first.
