Looking for sites like Polymarket? The most common reason is that Polymarket’s main exchange isn’t open where you live, including the US, the UK, France and many other countries. Others want dollar accounts instead of crypto, or a second venue to compare prices. These are the main Polymarket alternatives in 2026, checked against each company’s documentation and recent reporting in October 2026.

Kalshi: the main rival
Kalshi is the biggest regulated alternative: a CFTC-licensed US exchange with sports, politics, economics, weather and culture markets, funded in dollars, and open in more than 140 countries. It restricts a list of countries, including the UK, Canada and France. Fees are similar to Polymarket’s at most prices. See Kalshi vs Polymarket.
For Americans
US residents can’t use polymarket.com. The legal options are Polymarket’s own US app, Kalshi, broker apps such as Robinhood and Coinbase (both offer Kalshi-powered contracts), sportsbook-brand apps such as FanDuel Predicts and DraftKings Predictions, Novig for sports, and PredictIt for small political positions. Using a VPN to reach Polymarket’s main site breaks its terms and can get funds frozen.
Crypto-native alternatives
Several smaller crypto prediction markets operate on blockchains such as Base and BNB Chain. Limitless, based in the Cayman Islands, applied to the CFTC for US approval in 2026; Opinion excludes the US and China. Their reported volumes vary widely and are sometimes disputed, so treat headline figures with caution. They carry the usual crypto risks: smart contracts, stablecoins and weaker consumer protection than a regulated exchange.
Play money
Manifold Markets uses play money (“mana”) that can’t be cashed out. It’s a good way to practise forecasting and learn how markets move before risking real money.
