What’s confirmed
- 2025: Amazon MGM took creative control of the Bond films through a joint venture with long-time producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
- June 2025: Denis Villeneuve was announced as director.
- July 2025: Steven Knight was announced as writer.
- May 2026: auditions began, with Nina Gold as casting director.
- October 2026: trade press reported that final screen tests were scheduled; the studio hadn’t named any actors.

How these markets settle
Polymarket’s market resolves to the actor in the first official announcement of the next Bond made by December 31, 2026, using Amazon MGM Studios as the primary source, and to “No Bond chosen” if nobody is announced by then. Later changes don’t affect it. Kalshi’s market has its own deadline and rules; read them before trading. Rules checked October 2026.
