Is Kalshi legal in Florida? As of October 2026, yes: Kalshi and the Polymarket US app were available in Florida, and we found no Florida court order, cease-and-desist letter or regulator action against them. Florida’s only licensed online sportsbook runs under the Seminole Tribe’s gaming compact, which is why some observers expect prediction markets to be tested there eventually. This guide explains where things stand, as of October 27, 2026.

Why Florida could change
Florida’s gaming compact gives the Seminole Tribe exclusive rights to online sports betting in the state. Commentators have noted that sports prediction markets compete directly with that arrangement, and courts elsewhere have taken tribal gaming rights seriously: in September 2026 the Ninth Circuit sided with California tribes against Kalshi (see California). Florida sits in the Eleventh Circuit, which hadn’t ruled on sports event contracts when we checked.
