A trader can climb the all-time list without trading much that week: profit figures include unrealised gains, so a big open position that moves in their favour lifts them too. Conversely, a strong week can still leave a newer trader outside the all-time top 50.
Methodology
- Source. Polymarket’s public leaderboard data (all-time, ranked by profit, top 50), fetched once a day.
- Comparison. Today’s snapshot is compared with the snapshot closest to seven days earlier. “New” marks traders who weren’t in the top 50 then.
- Profit. As reported by Polymarket, including unrealised gains or losses on open positions, so it can move without the trader doing anything.
- Names. Display names are whatever traders have chosen. We don’t know who is behind an account and don’t suggest otherwise.
